For as long as I can remember, (Rachel), I have had ideas and dreams about what marriage should look like. Often though, when we get married, the ending is not happily ever after. I wish it was but for most, it is not. And why is that? I believe that the biggest reason is that we are not prepared for marriage. Our goal is to bring wisdom and knowledge in areas of intimacy and marriage that should'
ve been taught from the beginning. We, Wes and Rachel Peters, have been married 26 years. We have 4 children ages 23, 22, 20 and 14, two are married, and two grandbabies. Wes is a school teacher and has been teaching for 25 years. Rachel was a stay-at-home mom until 2014, after which she became a business owner of Schneider's Gourmet World. She is also a Domsetic Violence Advocate for women in abusive marriages. She meets regularly with women to encourage them and to give them a space to heal. We have been involved with marriage ministry for 15 years from church, to home groups, to one on one. Our marriage is not unique. We have had struggles. We have had tough times. We have shed tears. We have felt like quitting. We have seen some really painful days. We also have seen very good days. We have experienced amazing times of healing. And we have had mountain top experiences. It has taken us 26 years, but we can now say, we are living in what we call The Garden. Our goal is to bring enlightenment to the areas of intimacy, s*x, gender issues, parenting, communication and more, all from a Biblical veiw point. We will not compromise what we believe in order to fit into the world's ideas but rather want to show the world that God's Word is indeed very relevant and holds the answers to every problem that we face. We are not counsellors, but we love spending time with couples, encouraging them in their marriages. We do not claim to be professionals but we will do our best to share our life with yours. We do not claim to have arrived, but we want to share our journey with you so we can celebrate together this thing we call marriage. We are passionate about marriages.
