This week we continue with our study of the Ten Commandments. The fourth commandment 'Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy'. How do we put that into our relationships? We need to take time for one another - to stop our day to day routines and spend quality time with our loved ones and our God.

Good morning and peace be with you Selby Family. Have you ever looked at someone behaving badly and then made a judgment about not only them but their parents? If so, then you understand why God gave this third instruction in the decalogue. Today as we continue our series on the 10 commandments, we will explore why God bans people from carrying his name in vain, and we will explore how we can carry God’s name a little better, trusting in his grace. So let us join together today and worship our glorious father God with songs of praise and thanksgiving. Our own Glory Band Bank will be sharing their musical talent with us. Join us at 10:00 am, either in person or online.⛪📖🙏🎸🤝

Rev. Matthew's Weekly Devotional
Today we continue in our learning series on the ten commandments. This week's commandment is 'thou shall not take the name of your God in vain'. How do we relate that commandment to our relationships in life faithfully and passionately?

Greetings everyone, peace be with you, and happy thanksgiving! We continue our series on the 10 commandments today by diving into the second commandment “you shall not make idols or worship them”. Last week we talked about how modern false gods lead us astray, but today we are going to explore how idol worship worked in ancient times. We are going to see why idol worship was nasty for the people, and how it’s a blessing for God to warn us away from idols, so that we worship him, the true Lord alone. This morning Jill Storey is sharing her music ministry with us. So lets join together as we worship the Lord our God with thanks and praise join us at 10:00 am, either in person or online.⛪🙏🎸🎼🤝

Greetings Selby Family and peace be with you from our Lord Jesus Christ. Today we start our learning series through the 10 commandments, the “Decalogue”, these are probably some of the most famous verses in the whole Bible, and we will be diving into one instruction each week, seeing how God has brought us such wisdom in each line. The 10 will also be covered in unique ways in Bible study and the devotional, so watch out for those too. Today we wrestle with how God freed Israel from slavery and told them “you shall have no other God’s before me”, and we will see how this is the first step to true freedom. So come and join us, as we worship the Lord our God, the Lord of life and liberty, together. We will also celebrate World Wide Communion. This morning Vince Lasher will be sharing his music ministry with us. Please join us at 10:00 am, either in person or online.⛪🤝🎸🙏📖🎼
