Good morning, Selby Family and peace be with you! One of the most technical parts of our faith in the Gospel is understanding that our God reveals himself to us as one God in three persons, Father, Son, anvhttps://youtube.com/live/m2geCJr6jFE?feature=shared Holy Spirit. Despite its technicalness it is so important to study because it helps us understand our God that much more. So today we are going to explore some illustrations that can help us better understand the triune nature of our God, go over why some images are unhelpful and then see why engaging in the triune life ourself is so important to our faith. So lets join together now in worship of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our Selby Gospel Band will share their music ministry with us singing 'Will the Circle be Unbroken'. Peace be with you Selby family from our Lord Jesus Christ, and happy Pentecost! Have you ever been to a dedication service? Like when they christened a boat, or opened a new public building? Well, every year in church we celebrate the anniversary of a very important dedication, the dedication of us Christians as temples of the Holy Spirit. Today we celebrate the work of the Holy Spirit in all the church. For what would the church be without the powerful work of God the Spirit in our very lives. In honour of this, there will be much congregational participation today, for the spirit is in all of us. So, join us today, as we celebrate God’s dwelling with us, and the dedication of our very bodies as his temples. This morning Grace Putnam will be sharing her musical talent. Thanks be to God.
