The Sower

Time of Installation 1969

Memorializes George James Tustin (1888-1968).
This Mr.Tustin owned business property in Napanee, and was the mayor for a time. He was this region’s MPP (conservative) from 1935-1937.
This is a Gordon McClausland window, the 4th generation of these artists. Andrew McCausland (5th generation) was apprentice to his father at the time. Ida Vivian Tustin gave this window in memory of her husband.

Joseph Tustin and George Tustin shared a family connection. Both of them were very active in many aspects of our church life during their respective time periods.

St. Mary Magdalene Napanee is saying Yes! to Kids for the 5th year in a row!

For five consecutive years, this parish has partnered with Say Yes! to Kids to invest in children, youth, and families in their community. Through youth programs, music ministry, Vacation Bible School, AWANA, and Sunday School, St. Mary Magdalene continues to create spaces where young people can belong, grow in faith, and thrive.

Thanks to generous supporters, the team has already raised $2,011 toward their $3,000 goal—an incredible 67% of the way there!

Arrival at Emmaus

Time of installation 1929

This pair of windows was financed by the children in memory of their parents Hugo Burghardt Sherwood (1847-1925) and Esther Andrews Sherwood (1849 - 1925). These parents had worshiped and been active in both our first church and the one you are in now. In fact their 1873 wedding had to take place in the county courthouse, because the first church had been dismantled and this new church was not yet habitable!

Mr. Sherwood had been one of the signatories of the promissory note that made the financing of the construction of our present building feasible.

This is an Alan McCausland window, 3rd generation.
