Join us for a six-month journey as we dive deep into the theme of “Embracing God’s Forgiveness.” This Bible study series is designed to help us better understand God’s forgiveness, address struggles with unworthiness, and equip ourselves to overcome the enemy’s tactics.
We’ll meet on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast at the church building, beginning at 8:00 AM. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect each month:
Study Topics
1. December: The Nature of God’s Forgiveness
Discover the depth of God’s forgiveness through scripture and explore how it can transform our lives. Focus Scriptures: Psalm 103:12; Micah 7:18-19; Ephesians 1:7; Isaiah 43:25; Hebrews 8:12
2. January: Our Struggle with Unworthiness
Discuss the challenges of feeling unworthy and learn how God’s truth sets us free from condemnation. Focus Scripture: Romans 7:15-20; Isaiah 64:6; Luke 5:8; Psalm 51:3-5
3. February: The Enemy’s Strategy
Identify how the enemy uses guilt and accusations and learn to stand firm against these attacks. Focus Scripture: Revelation 12:10; Zechariah 3:1-4; John 8:44; 2 Corinthians 11:14
4. March: Overcoming the Enemy’s Plan
Equip yourself with the tools God has provided to embrace forgiveness and live victoriously. Focus Scripture: 1 John 1:9; Romans 8:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 3:13; Ephesians 6:10-18
5. April: Renewing Our Minds
Understand the importance of transforming our thoughts and aligning them with God’s truth. Focus Scripture: Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:8; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Colossians 3:2
6. May: Living in God’s Forgiveness
Learn how to fully embrace forgiveness and extend it to others in a way that reflects Christ. Focus Scripture: Matthew 6:14-15, 2 Corinthians 5:17-18, Ephesians 4:32, Micah 7:18-19
