Join Us in the St. John's Pride Parade
This year the St. John's Pride Parade is being held on Sunday July 19th at noon. The Church of the Good Shepherd will once again be participating. Lately there has been a resurgence of hatred and politics that threaten the rights, and even the safety of, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Because of this, it is more important than ever for those of us who are allies to stand with our friends in solidarity, and to clearly state that in NL there is No Space for Hate. One way to do this is by attending the Pride Parade. We hope to have a large turnout as we continue to do our part to respect and uphold the dignity of every human being. We will meet at the church parking lot at 11am. Everyone welcome! Some people may wish to carpool.
