This Morning Service, we were reminded that God cares not only about what we do, but about what is happening in our hearts.

As we continued through the Sermon on the Mount, we talked about lust, desire, and seeing people the way God intended not as objects to be taken, but as people made in His image.

✅ See. Don’t Take.
✅ Delight in What’s Given.
✅ Desire is a gift when it is rightly ordered.
✅ People are not objects.

Let’s carry this with us throughout the week: Guard our hearts. Guard our eyes. And learn to love and see others the way Jesus does.

Sunday Service Recap | Matthew 5:21–26

Yesterday, we were reminded that following Jesus goes beyond our outward actions, it starts with the condition of our hearts.

✅ Don’t let anger become contempt.
✅ Pursue reconciliation.
✅ Choose mercy over judgment.
✅ Make things right with one another.

As we shared Communion, may we remember the reconciliation Jesus made possible for us through the cross and allow that same grace to shape how we love and forgive others.

We hope to see you again next Sunday. May we all have an amazing week ahead. Be filled in God's love🙏

What do we do with anger, hurt, and broken relationships?

This Sunday, we’ll continue through Matthew 5:21–26, where Jesus challenges us to look beyond our actions and examine our hearts to let go of anger, seek reconciliation, and pursue peace with one another.

Tomorrow is also our Communion Sunday.
