Have you ever wondered what Pembina Parish is all about?
It’s simple. Inclusion. Love. Equality. Faith. Community. We as a church spend a lot of time learning about and acting on social justice issues. Food insecurity, Mental Health support, Truth & Reconciliation, Black History, LGBTQIA2S+ are just a few of the issues that we try to become more informed about – but inclusion is something we practice in our daily lives. We openly chose to become an affirming ministry after discussions with our congregations and are proud to be one of the many affirming ministries who accept all individuals. What exactly does “Affirming” mean? It means you are loved, respected, welcomed and cared for regardless of sexual preference, gender identity, beliefs, race, status, background, age, abilities, life circumstances. You will be treated with the same respect and love we show to all our congregation members.
That’s the message Pembina Parish supports.
So, If you or your family are looking for an all-inclusive, loving, and respectful church environment, stop by for coffee and a chat on any Sunday at St. Paul’s – 11am or Zion-Calvin – 9:30am. We would love to have you! For more about us, check out our website at www.pembinaparish.com.
