Have you ever wondered what Pembina Parish is all about?

It’s simple. Inclusion. Love. Equality. Faith. Community. We as a church spend a lot of time learning about and acting on social justice issues. Food insecurity, Mental Health support, Truth & Reconciliation, Black History, LGBTQIA2S+ are just a few of the issues that we try to become more informed about – but inclusion is something we practice in our daily lives. We openly chose to become an affirming ministry after discussions with our congregations and are proud to be one of the many affirming ministries who accept all individuals. What exactly does “Affirming” mean? It means you are loved, respected, welcomed and cared for regardless of sexual preference, gender identity, beliefs, race, status, background, age, abilities, life circumstances. You will be treated with the same respect and love we show to all our congregation members.

That’s the message Pembina Parish supports.

We at Pembina Parish are gearing up for our regular Sunday Services to start up!!
Come down and join us for our first service of the fall. Sept. 6th at 11am at St. Paul's in Morden, or 9:30am at Zion - Calvin in Darlingford.

If you can't make it, keep in mind we upload our Sunday services to YouTube every week, so you can catch us there too!!

Pembina Parish Pastoral Charge United Church includes St. Paul's United Church in Morden, Manitoba and Zion-Calvin United Church in Darlingford, Manitoba. Our videos are recordings of worship services, especially during the current health pandemic.

There's only 4 more days until Corn & Apple!!!

We at Pembina Parish are super excited to live in a place where people come from all over just to see and participate in our well-known town festival! And as such, we won't be missing out on the festivities either, so our office will be closed on Friday August 28th so we can go enjoy the festival with the rest of you.

Summer is here, and that means our summer worship schedule!
Here is what we have going on for the Summer this year.

Summer Schedule

Worship Interest Group has planned a summer of fellowship with activities to encourage community building. At the beginning of every Sunday, we will have a time of singing, prayer and our regular service rituals as well as a time for sharing joys and concerns and announcements.

July
All services at Zion-Calvin at 10:00am unless otherwise noted

July 5th – Darlingford Memorial Service 11:00am
Held in Memorial Park
Please bring a lawn chair

July 12th – What is Community?

July 19th – Water in Worship – a musical exploration

July 26th – Weeds, Seeds and Growth
