“We believe that God is calling us to be a United and uniting church on the Main Street of Moose Jaw - where God is celebrated, Jesus is followed, we and our neighbours are cared for in good fellowship. In these uncertain times, we are called to offer a place of faith where all are welcome at the Table.”

We welcome you to worship service:

🎭 ENCORE FOR ZION! 🎶
United Church Players Reunion Performance

Do you remember when the United Church Players took to the stage at Zion?

It all began in 1983, when a group of very young and enthusiastic folks suggested performing Godspell as part of Zion’s 100th anniversary celebrations. It was such a success that the Players returned with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1984, followed by Godspell and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 1985. And then, because apparently twice wasn’t enough, Godspell returned again in 1994! ❤️

Now, more than 40 years after that first production, some of those Players are coming back to the Zion stage for a special reunion performance!

Encore for Zion will feature songs from Godspell and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a scene from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, stories and memories from those wonderful years—and a little look at why preserving this beautiful old building matters so much.

Expect music, memories, laughter, and perhaps a few reminders that while we can still sing… the question of whether we can still dance remains to be seen! 😉🎭

And there’s an important reason for this reunion: proceeds will support Zion’s Heating System Project, helping keep this historic and much-loved community space warm for generations to come.

SaskPower came this morning to change out a meter that was not working properly. Unfortunately, with the power going out, we have now lost our internet and phone services.

I have contacted SaskTel, and we hope to have the problem resolved sometime tomorrow morning.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
