THAT IS WHY WE DO IT!

If you have been to camp, you've probably heard these things (or said them yourself)

CBC is more than a fun place to spend part of the summer. It is a place that fosters a meaningful relationship with Christ, one that lasts beyond camp.

Hearing these things at camp is always so encouraging, because it is proof that Jesus is moving in the hearts of campers and staff.

Did you know that campers get to choose 4 different interest activities?

They can do things like archery, BMX biking, arts and crafts, sports, survival skills, axe throwing, and SO MUCH MORE!

On the first day of camp, campers choose which interest activities they want to participate in for the session. 2 the first week, and 2 the second week.

Interest activities give campers the opportunity to engage in an activity they love!

Oh no, this is going to be a long two weeks.

If you've worked at camp, I'm sure you've experienced this feeling at the beginning of the session.

But how impactful is it when that feeling is transformed into excitement and hope for your campers?

That's why at CBC we believe in the purpose of our 2-week Day Camp sessions. Because the relationships built in the first week get to expand and flourish in the second week.

Did you hear what happened at CBC this weekend?

It was BLT! (No, not the sandwich)

We got to meet with this summers staff, learn, and fellowship with one another to build community before the summer begins.

We have such a great group of staff working at CBC this summer, and we are so excited to see them serve as the hands and feet of Jesus!
