Beaucoup de nouveautés cette année, notamment le programme pour enfants, la prière en congrégation, la distribution de bouteilles d'eau, de roses et de brochures à nos concitoyens montréalais ainsi qu'un service de transportation d'Atwater (pour les chauffeurs qui garent leur voiture à proximité du lieu de la procession)!

Stay tuned for all the new things happening this year​, including a program for kids, a prayer in congregation, distribution of ​water bottles, roses, and flyers to our fellow Montrealers, transportation from Atwater (for drivers parking their car near the procession destination), and so on!

We are a few weeks away from this year's Ashura procession, to be held on September 7th. Organizing this year's procession started in last November. The executive committee is working hard to improve the upcoming events as much as possible. We don't consider any ceiling for the improvement 😊

We are also looking forward to engaging all members of Shia Muslims Community in Montreal. You are most welcome to represent your group or center in the executive committee as well as to volunteer different available tasks. If ready, direct message ASAP 🤗

Isn't said that "every day is Ashura and everywhere is Karbala?" So, yesterday our feet were on Montreal's streets but our souls were in Karbala.

We commemorated Imam Hussain's universal and timeless message of peace, freedom, and justice. We also remembered Lady Zainab, who ensured that the message of Hussain did not vanish from the pages of history.

Now we want to say THANK YOU for joining us and making this procession happen. We also appreciate all our volunteers for their efforts to spread the message of Hussein to our fellow Montrealers. Last but not least, we gratitude all participating organizations and hope to work together closely to organize the procession better & better each and every year ahead.

Please feel free to share your comments about any aspect of the procession. We are intended to work hard for the upcoming year's procession from TODAY and your comments help us to keep the good things and improve others.
