SOLENNITÀ DEL CORPUS CHRISTI: IL SANTISSIMO CORPO E SANGUE DI CRISTO

Oggi la Chiesa celebra una festa sacra per onorare e adorare il dono più grande che Cristo ha lasciato alla Sua Chiesa: la Santa Eucaristia.

Nel Vangelo, Gesù dichiara:
«Io sono il pane vivo disceso dal cielo; chi mangia questo pane vivrà in eterno... Chi mangia la mia carne e beve il mio sangue ha la vita eterna, e io lo risusciterò nell'ultimo giorno» (Giovanni 6,51-54).

Queste parole rivelano uno dei misteri più profondi della nostra fede cattolica: la Presenza Reale di Gesù Cristo nell’Eucaristia, iniziata durante l’Ultima Cena. Ciò che appare come pane e vino diventa, per la potenza di Dio, il vero Corpo e Sangue di Cristo: il Pane della Vita e il Calice della Salvezza.
Non si tratta semplicemente di un simbolo o di un ricordo; è Gesù stesso, realmente presente in mezzo al suo popolo.

🙏 Attraverso la Santa Comunione:
✨ La grazia si rafforza.
✨ La fede si approfondisce.
✨ I peccati vengono perdonati e le anime sono guarite.
✨ Siamo uniti più strettamente a Cristo e gli uni agli altri.
✨ Riceviamo nutrimento spirituale per il nostro cammino verso la vita eterna.

🙏 Un invito all'adorazione e alla fede
Il Corpus Christi ci ricorda che l'Eucaristia non va solo ricevuta, ma anche adorata. Attraverso di essa, noi fedeli proclamiamo che Gesù è il Signore e che Egli rimane con noi fino alla fine dei tempi.

In un mondo pieno di incertezze, sofferenze e distrazioni, Gesù ci invita a presentarci davanti a Lui con i nostri fardelli, le nostre paure, le nostre speranze e le nostre preghiere. Nella Sua Presenza troviamo pace, forza, misericordia e amore.

🙏 Preghiera
Signore Gesù Cristo, Pane vivo dal Cielo, accresci la nostra fede nella Tua Presenza Reale nella Santa Eucaristia. Aiutaci ad avvicinarci alla Santa Comunione con riverenza, gratitudine e amore. Fa' che possiamo sempre riconoscerti nel Santissimo Sacramento e lasciare che la Tua grazia trasformi i nostri cuori.
Cuore Santissimo di Gesù, veramente presente nella Santa Eucaristia, abbi pietà di noi. Amen. ✝️

SOLEMNITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

In the Gospel, Jesus declares:
"I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever... Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day." (John 6:51-54)

These words reveal one of the deepest mysteries of our Catholic faith: the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist which began at the Last Supper. What appears to be bread and wine becomes, through the power of God, the true Body and Blood of Christ: the Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation. This is not merely a symbol or a remembrance; it is Jesus Himself, truly present among His people.

🙏 Through Holy Communion:
✨ Grace is strengthened.
✨ Faith is deepened.
✨ Sins are forgiven and souls are healed.
✨ We are united more closely with Christ and one another.
✨ We receive spiritual nourishment for our journey toward eternal life.

🙏 A Call to Adoration and Faith
Corpus Christi reminds us that the Eucharist is not only to be received but also adored. Through this, we, the faithful, proclaim that Jesus is Lord and that He remains with us until the end of time.

In a world filled with uncertainty, suffering, and distractions, Jesus invites us to come before Him with our burdens, fears, hopes, and prayers. In His Presence we find peace, strength, mercy, and love.

🙏 Prayer
Lord Jesus, help us to approach Holy Communion with reverence, gratitude, and love. Fill my heart with awe, faith, and gratitude. Heal what is wounded within me, strengthen me against temptation, and make me a living witness of Your mercy and truth. May every Holy Communion draw me closer to You and transform me more into Your likeness.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, have mercy on us. Amen. ✝️

🙏 Sisters in Christ: Grief & Spirituality Evening 🙏

Join us on Friday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the church basement for a special evening of reflection, faith, and hope as we explore how Christ accompanies us through grief and healing.

We are blessed to welcome Debbie Corsetti as our guest speaker, sharing her personal journey of loss, healing, and renewed faith. Debbie will be joined by Fr. Francesco and three women who will offer their own testimonies and reflections.

🌹 Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Gather before the statue of Our Blessed Mother at the front of the church as we pray the Rosary together and entrust the evening to Mary's loving intercession.

Whether you are grieving, healing, or seeking hope, you are warmly invited. No one is meant to walk through sorrow alone—Christ walks with us, and Our Blessed Mother watches over us.

Our parish Teens’ Group is organizing a Food Drive to help those less fortunate in our community. We invite everyone to support this beautiful initiative by bringing the items listed in the poster beginning today.

Donations may be dropped off at the Parish Office or the Catechism Office.

Let us encourage and support our teens as they serve one another and the Lord through acts of kindness, generosity, and love. ❤️

The next Teens’ Group gathering will take place on Saturday, June 6 at 6:30 PM in the Parish Hall, where the teens will prepare food baskets to be distributed by the parish to families in need.

Domenica della Santissima Trinità

Oggi celebriamo la solennità della Santissima Trinità, il mistero centrale della nostra fede cattolica. Crediamo in un solo Dio in tre Persone divine: il Padre, il Figlio e lo Spirito Santo, uniti in un amore perfetto e in un’unica natura divina.

Il Padre ci ha creati, il Figlio ci ha redenti con la sua morte e risurrezione, e lo Spirito Santo continua a guidarci e a santificarci. Attraverso il Battesimo, siamo accolti nella vita della Trinità e diventiamo figli di Dio.

La Santissima Trinità non è solo una dottrina da comprendere, ma una relazione da vivere. Ogni segno della croce ci ricorda che apparteniamo al Dio Trino e siamo chiamati a riflettere il suo amore attraverso l’unità, il servizio, il perdono e la fede.

Mentre celebriamo questa grande festa, possa la nostra fede essere rinnovata, la nostra speranza rafforzata e il nostro amore per Dio approfondito.

Nel nome del Padre, del Figlio e dello Spirito Santo. Amen. 🙏🤍
