St George's Church are a diverse and welcoming community in the heart of downtown Montreal. We come from all walks of life and from many different countries and cultures. We meet together in the knowledge that we are all one in Jesus Christ and because of this we can celebrate our diversity. Our Sunday and Wednesday services draw upon the rich traditions of Anglican worship pract

ices and through them we seek to help people connect with God. Our church, a national heritage site is a perfect place for quiet reflection and meditation; a place of welcome respite in the downtown. Our drop-in centre provides nourishing meals and compassionate conversation for those who are experiencing homelessness in our neighbourhood. During this pandemic time, the best place to go for the most accurate information on our activities and service schedule is on our website www.st-georges.org.

A Prayer for Mother’s Day: Loving God, we thank you for all the people who have mothered us throughout our lives. For all who have held us and fed us, cared for us and comforted us, challenged and encouraged us. Help us all to reflect more of your compassion, kindness, and strength around us today. Hold all mothers in the light of your presence and guide them to you. Amen.
