Prayer for Today:

“Father, today I choose to get rid of the old mindsets and old patterns of thinking. I choose to let go of anything that would keep me from Your best. Strengthen me and renew my mind by Your Spirit, so that I can live my life in a way that pleases You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

Sunday Sermon (February 16th 2025)
Minister- Bro. Tomiwa
Topic: Identifying the Voice of God in the Midst of Nowhere
Bible Text: Genesis 21:15-18

- God desires for you to identify His voice. The sheep of Jesus identify his voice. Get familiar with the Word, prayer, meditation and worship to grow in this capacity.
(Psalm 46:10, John 10:27)

- When the Word of God begins to cleanse us from within, we see our lives changing. Therefore, as believers, we must take the word of God seriously. There’s always something new to learn from the Scripture anytime we study it.
(Luke 4:15-20, John 17:17)

- The word preserves us and guides us. Studying the word gives direction.
(Psalm 51:8, Psalm 119:105)

- The Son is the Word. We get to know Jesus through the Word. Also, the witness of the Spirit grows in us as we meditate and worship Him. Some call it “instinct”. This still small voice can come once in a while so we need to be sensitive.
(John 1:3, Hebrews 1:2, Psalms 1:3, Romans 8:14-16)

- God can also communicate with us through His servants (Word of knowledge). In summary, God wants to speak to us and He is still speaking to us; the onus is on us to obey.

SUNDAY SERMON (FEBRUARY 9TH 2025)

Minister- Bro. Jesupemi
Topic: God is Love
Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 13:1-11

- In this life, we are being prepared for eternity. We are called to love, as a foundation of our worship. The very essence of worship is love and we are called to be like the one who is called “Love”.

- If you perceive God is telling you that it’s not yet time for something, then it could be that He wants you to focus on growing in another area of life.

- Whenever God asks you a question, He knows the answer already. He has a timeline for everything and has good thoughts towards you. [Jeremiah 29:11; 1 Corinthians 12:4; 1 Corinthians 13:8]

- God has no pleasure in keeping away good things from you. Anchor your hopes in God and you will not be disappointed.

SUNDAY SERMON
(JANUARY 26TH 2025)
Minister- PASTOR ISRAEL IBIROGBA
Topic: BORN FOR EXCELLENCE
Bible Text: Deuteronomy 28; Exodus 13:2

- Born for excellence; Born for exploit; Born for greatness
- God has earmarked a place for the FIRSTBORN
- Firstborns belong to God, they are dedicated to God
- God expect all Firstborn to work for Him
- Exodus 34:20
- Every Firstborn must be Redeemed
- God does as He pleases, He chooses who He wants and nobody can question Him
- Psalm 115:3
- You can’t question Him, You can only ASK FOR HIS MERCIES!!!
- David was the last; Joseph was second to the last. God can jump the Firstborn and pick the next!

- To excel means to be above the rest
- It is true for everyone that we did not choose when and where we were born, not even our height nor color
- Everything was chosen by God and He has an excellent plan for our lives
- Jeremiah 29:11
- However, a man can destroy or tamper with his own destiny by himself.
- Romans 9:10-15
- The matter of destiny is a serious one for you to sit and consider
- Genesis 25:29-34; Genesis 48:17-20
- Ephraim was the second born while Manasseh was first
- There’s power in the right hand that is greater than that of the left and its only God that can explain this
- Deuteronomy 33:17
- Manasseh became a thousand as against Ephraim who became ten thousand
- Hosea 4:17
- However, much later Ephraim backslided and God abandoned him
- Hosea 5:9
- God finally restored Manasseh
- Revelations 7:4-8; Genesis 49:2-7; Numbers 3:12
- Levites choose to be on the Lord’s side
- Exodus 32:25

-Your parents have given birth to you…Its up to you to choose to be on the Lord’s side!
