In 1985 Jesus touched Gennady and Svetlana's heart in a dramatic supernatural experience. It was in 1991, when God's calling on Gennady and Svetlana's life was put into action. They began working for Sid Roth's "Messianic Vision." This Ministry was to pioneer a new congregation amongst the Russian Jewish people in New York City. In 1993 the Lord led the Livsh*ts family to Edmonton, Alberta, to est
ablish their home. Gennady began traveling with his eldest son Larry, ministering in many cities and rural towns all over Canada and the USA. In his travels across North America, Gennady has seen deliverance, healing, and other manifestations of God's Power. Then in 1997, God called Gennady and his family to move to Montreal, Québec to minister and be a leader for the Russian Jews who did not know Jesus. It was truly a test of faith. There were many struggles and battles but God was always with them. Eventually, God lead Gennady to start a television program. With the grace of God, tv station contacts and equipment came pouring in and the first episode of "House of David Presents" was aired in their basement at home, with Svetlana, and their three children, Larry, Sarah & David, helping with production. Since then God has been so good and has blessed House of David Ministries immensely. They have been on the air for over 20 years now. Our God has never left nor forsaken them and has used those difficult times to strengthen and truly learn to place their faith in Him. We're not looking to be like the others. We are simply messengers praying and believing that our God, Saviour and Messiah will move through our teaching and praise & worship and make a difference in even one person's life. House of David Ministries is and always has been a family run ministry and church; but we have expanded in the past year and have a wonderful team who is considered to be family. Not to mention all our loving partners and friends who continuously watch our show, send us testimonies and prayer requests, reaffirming that God truly keeps His promises.
