Madison Baptist Church Created to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever! We are Montrealers who love the Lord and are passionate about studying the Book He gave us, the Bible.

Our worship services feature a varirty of music, blending instruments and vocals. We love children, and have programs designed for them. Our desire is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, and to grow in knowledge of Him daily.

The Mad Monk Café returns MAY 8th!

Anyone who's been to a Mad Monk over the years will know that I'm a big fan of the late great Josh White.
I thought we'd start the season off with a concert featuring Josh's songs in the way that he performed them in nightclubs and concert Halls: guitar, vocal, and bass. Phil Peters will be joining me on bass and we will be presenting more songs of Josh White, a mix of Classic Blues, Ballads and Spirituals- just the way Josh would have wanted it.

** If you’d like to bring a dessert or snack to share with everyone, that would be great - if you feel so inclined.

Doors open at 7:00pm. As always admission and refreshments are free of charge thanks to Madison Baptist Church. Mad Monk Café is on the corner of MADison and MONKland in NDG, H4B 1G8.

The Mad Monk Café returns FRIDAY JUNE 6TH with an intriguing concert we’re calling East Meets West - Heads South.
Deacon George will bring his bluesy Vocals and Guitars and Sahand Mousavi will feature his virtuosity on Violin and the Persian Setar. They will be performing songs ranging from Hoagy Carmichael to Blind Willie Johnson, blending eastern and western musical styles that will entertain and move you.
If you’d like to bring a dessert or snack to share, that would be great if you feel so inclined.
