Beloved brothers and sisters,
Today, the Church honors the memory of the God-bearing Fathers of the Ecumenical Councils;
those shepherds and defenders of the Orthodox Faith who, inspired by the Holy Spirit,
preserved the truth of the Gospel with wisdom, humility, and courage.
Their unwavering witness protected the unity of the Church and upheld the mystery of Christ, true God and true Man.

In commemoration of this sacred day, I’m pleased to share with you a recording of the Doxastikon hymn chanted in their honor by Mr. Nader Hajjar.
This noble hymn beautifully expresses the spiritual authority and theological clarity that the Holy Fathers have handed down to us.

May their prayers guide us in the true confession of the faith and strengthen us in love and unity.
Through the intercessions of the Holy Fathers, O Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.

Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

Beloved in Christ,
As we continue to celebrate the radiant season of Pascha, the joy of the Resurrection remains ever alive in the heart of the Church. The victory of Christ over death is not a moment, but a mystery we live and proclaim throughout these 50 holy days, and indeed, all our life in Him.

In this spirit, I’m grateful to share with you the Doxastikon of Pascha, chanted in English by Jenny Boutros.
This solemn and triumphant hymn—sung at the end of Paschal Matins—declares the central mystery of our faith: “Let us forgive all things on the Resurrection, and so let us cry: Christ is risen from the dead!”

May the light of the Resurrection continue to illumine your hearts with peace, hope, and divine joy.
Let us glorify His Resurrection on the third day!

Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!
Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
The Feast of Feasts has dawned—the radiant and life-giving Pascha of the Lord! On this holy day, the Church calls us to rejoice, for “now all things are filled with light: heaven, earth, and the depths below.”
To honor this sacred celebration, I am grateful to share with you a recording of the powerful hymn: "It is the Day of Resurrection" (اليوم يومُ القيامة) chanted in Arabic, captured during a live Paschal service in 2022. This timeless piece proclaims the universal joy of the Resurrection and calls us to spiritual awakening and mutual reconciliation: “Let us embrace one another! Let us say, O brethren, even to those that hate us, let us forgive all things on the Resurrection!” It reflects the very heart of the Paschal mystery—renewal, unity, and boundless mercy through the victory of Christ.
May the Risen Lord fill your hearts with His peace, bless your homes with light, and guide your steps with eternal hope.

On this radiant night, the darkness is scattered, and life conquers death. As we hear the priest proclaim, “Come, receive light from the unwaning Light, and glorify Christ, who is risen from the dead,” we are invited not only to hold a candle, but to receive the very Light of Christ into our souls. This is not a symbol—it is a mystery. The Light that shattered the tomb and illumines all creation now calls each of us to rise from the shadows of sin and despair into the joy of the Resurrection.

May the Light of Pascha fill our hearts with unshakable hope, divine peace, and everlasting joy.

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, as we approach the solemn approach to Holy Week, the Church presents us with a radiant and deeply meaningful union of feasts: the Saturday of Lazarus and Palm Sunday. In these sacred days, we behold Christ as both the Giver of Life and the King of Glory—raising Lazarus from the tomb as a pledge of the general resurrection, and entering Jerusalem in humility, greeted by palms and hosannas. These events are not distant history, but living mysteries that call us to deeper faith, repentance, and participation in the divine life. In the spirit of this sacred time, I humbly offer my voice in the sacred hymnody of this season to the Byzantine Melody community; may it contribute to uplifting our souls and drawing us all nearer to Christ.
