Sermon:
Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ.
Today, let us reflect on one of the greatest commandments Jesus gave us: to love one another. In John 13:34-35, Jesus said, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you." Love is not merely a feeling; it is an action. True Christian love is shown through kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and helping those in need.
The world today is filled with people who are lonely, hurting, hungry, and discouraged. As followers of Christ, we are called to be His hands and feet. Galatians 6:2 tells us, "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." When we help others, pray for them, encourage them, and support them during difficult times, we demonstrate the love of Jesus.
God's love should flow through our lives every day. Whether it is helping a neighbor, visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, or simply speaking words of encouragement, every act of love glorifies God. Love brings unity to families, churches, and communities.
Let us ask ourselves today: Are we showing Christ's love to those around us? Are we willing to forgive, serve, and help others without expecting anything in return? When we love others sincerely, people will see Christ in us.
May we become a church that loves deeply, serves faithfully, and helps generously. Let us be known not only for our words but for our actions that reflect the heart of Jesus Christ.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great love toward us. Help us to love one another as Christ has loved us. Give us compassionate hearts to help those who are suffering, lonely, and in need. Teach us to be kind, forgiving, and generous. May our lives be a testimony of Your love and grace. Use us to bring hope, encouragement, and blessing to others. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. ☀️ Sunday Morning Blessings! Let us follow the example of Jesus by loving one another and helping those in need. May God's love shine through our words and actions today. ❤️🙏
