بعد مؤتمر الشبيبة والرياضة الروحيّة السنويّة للكهنة في مدينة كالغري، توجّه راعي الأبرشيّة المطران ميلاد، يوم الخميس 3 أيلول 2026، إلى مدينة إدمنتون في زيارة لرعيّة القدّيس نيقولاوس برفقة راعيها قدس الأب عيسى المعمّر.
بدايةً، كانت زيارة إلى مطران الكنيسة الأوكرانيّة سيادة المطران دافيد موتيوك وإلى مطران إدمنتون سيادة المطران ستيفن هيرو، برفقة وفد من أبناء الرعيّة.
من بعدها، كانت لقاءات مع أخويّة السيّدات، ومع شبيبة الرعيّة، والمجلس الراعويّ للكنيسة.
وفي اليوم الثاني، احتفل راعي الأبرشيّة بالقدّاس الإلهيّ مع الأب عيسى كاهن الرعيّة، وحضور الأب لعازر عبّود كاهن كنيسة الروم الأرثوذكس في أدمنتون، والأب توماس كاهن الرعيّة اللّاتينيّة، ولفيف من أبناء الرعيّة، تلاه غداء في قاعة الكنيسة.

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, following the Melkite Youth Convention and the Annual Priestly Spiritual Retreat in Calgary, His Excellency Bishop Milad traveled to Edmonton for a pastoral visit to St. Nicholas Parish, accompanied by its pastor, Father Issa Maamar.
The visit began with two meetings: one with the Ukrainian Catholic Bishop, His Excellency Bishop David Motiuk, and another with the Roman Catholic Bishop of Edmonton, His Excellency Bishop Stephen Hero, joined by a delegation from the parish.
Afterwards, Bishop Milad met with the Ladies’ Group, the parish youth, and the pastoral Council.
On the second day, Bishop Milad celebrated the Divine Liturgy with Father Issa, in the presence of Father Lazar Abboud, priest of the Greek Orthodox Church in Edmonton, Father Thomas of the Latin parish, and a large gathering of parishioners. The celebration was followed by a parish luncheon in the church hall.
May the Lord bless our church in Edmonton through the intercession of Saint Nicholas, the esteemed Patron of the parish.
