These trees are now available at a cost of $250.00. The Elmwood Cemetery Co. is a not for profit corporation, and with the purchase of a tree, each person will receive a tax deductable receipt in the amount of $200.00. Twenty trees were planted this spring, and are currently available as memorials, with thirty more, planned for next Spring.
Every tree donated, will be recorded in the permanent archives of the Cemetery with a suitable remembrance of the person being memorialized, and will be recognized at a special Remembrance service in the fall of the year.
It is our hope to make the 40 acres of the Elmwood Cemetery grounds much more of a “Green Space Reserve” within the city of Moncton, where you will find peace and tranquility while visiting your loved ones, or to enjoy strolling along our walkways.
