With the support and leadership of Father Peter McKee the Knights of Columbus founded the Ray of Hope Needy Kitchen (the “Kitchen”) in 1984….the first soup kitchen in southeastern NB

Both the Knights and Father Peter recognized a need to help the homeless and financially challenged in Moncton by providing them with a hot nutritious and most importantly “FREE” meal. Augustine’s Roman Catholic chur

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend, Ed. He was a valuable member of our soup kitchen team and put in countless hours with us. Our sincere condolences to his wife Karen and family. Until we meet again, RIP Ed🙏🏻

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Peter McKee food distribution centre and their sponsors for their generous provision of essential food items to our kitchen.
