Welcome to the month of August, our month of Overflowing Cup.

This month, we declare that God’s goodness, favor, grace, and blessings will overflow in our lives. The Lord is our Shepherd, and He is able to fill every empty place and cause us to experience His abundance.

As we walk with God in faith, prayer, and obedience, may our cups overflow with joy, peace, divine provision, and fresh anointing. May this month bring testimonies, breakthroughs, and a deeper experience of God’s presence.

Day 2 of end of month Fasting: Surrendering Our Crowns

Scripture:Revelation 4:10-11

Devotion

The elders in heaven laid their crowns before the Lord. Their crowns represented honor, achievement, victory, and authority. Yet they recognized that everything they had came from God and belonged to Him.

As we continue this fast, God invites us to examine our own "crowns." These may be our accomplishments, talents, positions, plans, successes, or even the things we take pride in. Fasting reminds us that God is our source and sustainer. We do not live by our strength alone but by His grace.

Today, let us willingly place every crown at His feet. When we surrender our pride, God fills us with His presence. When we release control, He leads us into His perfect will.

Prayer Points

* Lord, I lay every crown at Your feet.
* Forgive me for every area where pride has taken Your place.
* Help me to depend on You completely.
* Let my life bring glory and honor to Your name alone.
