The Eastern Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada comprises territory which extends east from Sault Ste. Marie, Franz and Hearst, Ontario to the Atlantic Ocean, incorporating parishes of the Metropolitanate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada — a Metropolitanate with full internal autonomy, having as its canonical head the Ecumenical Patriarch to whom it has canonical reference

in all things.

Східна Єпархія Української Православної Церкви в Канаді простягається на схід від Су Сейнт Марі, Френц і Гирст, Онтаріо до Антлантійського Океану, включаючи парафії митрополії Української Православної Церкви Канади — митрополія з повною внутрішньою автономією під омофором Вселенського Патріарха, до якого звертаються в усіх канонічних справах.

WIth the blessing of His Grace, Ilarion, Bishop of Edmonton and the Western Eparchy, Locum Tenens of the Metropolitan Cathedral — the Rite of the Great Blessing of the Waters, in Ukrainian and English:

The Rite is only observed twice during the year: on the Feast of Theophany and on the Eve of the Feast of Theophany. The Ukrainian text is taken from the 1954 Trebnyk of Metr. Ilarion (Ohienko) of Blessed Memory. The English text is based on the translations of Archimandrite Ephrem (Lash) of Blessed Memory.
