PROMISES FULFILLED
2 Peter 3:9 NLT
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent.
Entering 2021, maybe we are wondering what or what other surprises will happen this year? Last year we may have many plans for our studies, work or business, even where our family will go on vacation, but maybe a lot is not achieved. We may wonder which of God's many promises are? And can we still trust God's promises?
But Numbers 23:19 says that "God is not a human being, so He lied ... How could He speak and not do it, or speak and not keep it?" If our God never lied and did not keep His promises, maybe what should be our question is whether we misunderstood what God's promises are?
Because as is said in Isaiah 55:8 “ My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine." This is very important in our doing Prayer and Fasting entering the year 2021. so that we understand God's will and understand God's promises in this year of Greater Destiny. And the most important thing is that we may experience God's promises in our lives.
2 Corinthians 1:20 JB says "For Christ is" yes "to all of God's promises. That is why by Him we say "Amen" to glorify God. " The Lord Jesus is the fulfillment of all God's promises, not just some, not just the old ones in the Old Testament. But all, including what is still going to happen is His second coming to pick us up. And it is God's will for all of us believers to be his bride at His coming as it says in 2 Peter 3: 9 TB “He wills that no one should perish, but that all people may turn around and repent. “
Prayer:
God teaches us in these 21 days of Prayer and Fasting to seek You and understand Your will and plan so that we may experience the Greater Destiny that God has given us. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
