With great joy, the toddlers’ program at Mar Mari Chaldaen Catholic Church celebrated its first Easter event ! We felt the hands of divine providence, that our event worked out to be right after Holy Mass – a liturgy that was designed merely for toddlers, by our beloved pastor Fr.Niaz!
We would like to extend a word of thanks to all who participated in coordinating this event, from several church committees (Catechism School, Teens for Christ, St.Theress Lisieux Youth Group and Aquila&Priscilla Married Couples' Group), and contributed to its success. We also want to extend a word of thanks to all the parents that felt the necessity of this event and brought their kids.
As a matter of fact, the event focussed on the gospel’s central message:- that Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins, and that he is risen from the dead and through him we may have life in its fullness. The message was communicated to the audience via several methods – A cartoon, a play and crafts, in addition to the pastor’s preaching.
