Despite the hurts and pains,
the incidents and accidents,
the disappointments and setbacks,

I will forever remain true to You.

Despite the rejections and ridicule,
the misunderstandings and opposition,

I will serve You forever.

Despite the beatings and betrayals,
the discouragement and dejection,
the moments when I questioned my own strength,

there is no other God but You.

Despite my fears and feelings,
my weaknesses and worries,

You remain my Rock,
my Refuge,
my Strength,
and my Salvation.

I thank You, LORD,
that despite all these things,
despite my inadequacies and inaccuracies,
my imperfections and limitations,

You have never left me,
nor have You forsaken me.

You remained.
