Some years ago, I was reading a Christian book and there was a sentence that caught my attention. I've been using it ever since. The sentence said something like this. Sometimes you simply have to pray the pray the price.

Yes! That one sentence in various forms, have left an indelible mark on my life. If there's one thing I've learned privately and generally, is to stay the course in prayer.

Prayer can have ebbs and flow. Yet remain constant. Sometimes it's better to have shorter prayer with consistency than longer prayer.

I'm a long prayer person partially because u leave no stone left unturned.

Yet I've also learned to be intentional abd pray short prayer ti cover topics, etc.

Either way, whether short or long,

No matter what we believe about government, scripture does admonish us to pray for those in authority over us. 1 Timothy 2:1-2. Let us prat for Canada and parliament at this time. Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

On this Truth and Reconcilation Day, there are many things to ponder and pray moving forward. 1. Having a day helps but isn't enough 2. Generational wounds means the need for generational healing 3. Only Jesus can heal 4. Prater must be consistent. We cannot and must not give up hope and intercede for healing of our beautiful First Nations peoples and our nation. Human efforts are wonderful but it will never be enough. Many cultures and nations need healing.

Years ago, I felt that the First Nations people are RESERVED for His Glory. I still stand on this word no matter what it looks or sounds like.

Happy National Aboriginal Day! Today, N.G.A. prays focusing some time for our beautiful First Nations people. We pray for healing from brokenness and pain. I'll have to take out my moccasins ans Cree Hymn book as I pray.
