Celebrating 17 years of a closer and stronger WIN Mississauga. God has been faithful.

From a small gathering of families to the church community we are today, every season has been a testimony of His grace, provision, and faithfulness.

As we look back with gratitude, we also look ahead with faith - trusting God for wherever He may lead us next.

Before it became a home, it was a vision. Before we could see what it would become, it required faith.

This throwback to Project David takes us back to one of the defining seasons in the story of WIN Mississauga.

At the time, this video invited us to look beyond an empty building and imagine what God could do through it - a place filled with worship and fellowship, young people growing in faith, families finding community, and lives being changed.

Years later, we can look back with gratitude and see how that vision became part of a much bigger story. Across our five campuses, God continues to build His church through people who pray, serve, give, and step forward in faith.

As we prepare to celebrate WIN Mississauga’s 17th Anniversary, we remember God’s faithfulness, celebrate how far He has brought us, honour those who helped pave the way, and look ahead with faith to the chapters still to come - closer and stronger than ever.

Every story has a beginning.

These throwback photos take us back to some of the earliest days of WIN Mississauga (Peel), when our first worship services were held in a small function room at the Sheridan College Residence.

There was no permanent sanctuary or elaborate setup but what started small at the time became the beginning of something God would continue to grow.

As we prepare to celebrate WIN Mississauga’s 17th Anniversary, we honour those who took those first steps of faith and thank God for every person who has become part of the story since.

From a small function room to a church family still growing closer and stronger together.

While these things can be good, they were never meant to carry the weight of our identity, purpose, or hope.

Solomon honestly explores the ultimate limits of wisdom, work, and success under the sun, pointing us toward a better way. The goal is not to stop working hard, but to shift our perspective: learning to receive both our daily work and its rewards as gifts directly from the hand of God. Bearing the Burden of Wisdom | Life Under The Sun | WINOntario Online Service

In this second message of our "Life Under The Sun" series, we confront a sobering truth about the limits of human intellect. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 1:12-18, we look at Solomon's lifelong pursuit of understanding, which led him to a surprising discovery: human wisdom can diagnose what is broken in the world, but it lacks the power to repair it.

The more clearly we see reality, the more we feel its ache. Yet, this internal weight is not meant to drive us toward cynicism or despair. Instead, it is designed to drive us toward God.
