🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT 🌟
If you’ve stepped into the church office, caught a training session, or seen the energy in our kids' programs, chances are you’ve been blessed by the warmth and dedication of Birdena!
Birdena and her family first came to Manitoulin in the summer of 2020. They transitioned from livestream viewers during COVID to seasonal residents, and are now active, year-round leaders at FCC. Since 2022, Birdena has poured immense heart into almost every corner of our church—serving as a Sunday School teacher, Children’s Ministry Lead, Board Member, and Plan to Protect Trainer.
Today, she continues to bless us in all of these roles, and officially stepped into her newest position as our Church Administrative Assistant this past May!
When asked about her heart for ministry, Birdena shared:
"Throughout my life, I have looked for opportunities to serve God in His local church but also through my personal and work life. I acknowledge how God has blessed me, and, at this point in my life, am both amazed and humbled at how God has woven together my experiences. I am grateful for the faith I have in Christ, a foundation laid by my parents and others of that generation, which was passed down from generations before them. With God's leading, I desire to pass that faith on to others."
Birdena, thank you for doing such a spectacular job and for letting your faith and experiences overflow into our church family. We are so profoundly grateful for you! 🙌✨
