🌈 BIG NEWS & AN URGENT ASK FROM YOUR RAINBOW CAMP FAMILY 🌈
We’re incredibly proud to share that Rainbow Camp® co-founders, Harry and Chris, have been awarded the Governor General of Canada’s Meritorious Service Medal, one of our country’s highest honours, for their work creating and growing Rainbow Camp in support of 2SLGBTQ+ youth. 💖🏅
The medal was officially presented on Wednesday, June 25 at Rideau Hall in Ottawa by the Governor General of Canada herself.
This award belongs to all of you, our amazing Rainbow Camp community, who have supported us through the years with your love, donations, and belief in the importance of this space.
Now, we need you more than ever.
Campers begin arriving this Sunday, and we are facing an urgent financial shortfall. More youth than ever are requesting full sponsorship to attend camp, and we’re at risk of having to say no.
