What if the goal isn't to make more of ourselves, but to make more room for God?🙏🏻

Saint John the Baptist understood this well. Chosen by God before birth, he spent his life pointing others not to himself, but to Jesus.

As we celebrate his feast day, may we also learn to step aside so that Jesus may shine more clearly in our lives.

Less of our pride. Less of our need to be seen. Less of our desire to be in control.
More of God. More of His will. More of His love shining through us.🤍✨

Heavenly Father, I thank You that You knew me and called me by name before I was even formed in my mother’s womb. Thank You for setting me apart for Your purposes. I pray that You will guide my steps and equip me to be a light in the world. When I face doubt or feel like my efforts are in vain, remind me that my identity and strength are anchored in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When we gather in His name, He is in our midst.
When we sing to the Lord, it is a prayer from our hearts. It is an expression of love. It is a prayer twice as much. It becomes a beautiful harmony with singing Angels. It is an offering to the Lord. As we lead to worship, it is a little sacrifice offered that pleases the Lord. Whether we sing to the Lord alone or not, let us worship with our mind, body and soul🙏
