Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s Candlelight Thanksgiving Mass here at the Shrine.

We would also like to thank everyone who visited us this summer. Whether you came with family and friends, as part of a pilgrimage or school group, or on your own, Thank You!

Today is the last day of our 2026 summer season and we will be closing for the fall and winter seasons and will reopen next spring.

However, we invite you to join us for First Light, in collaboration with Sainte-Marie among the Hurons from November 26 to December 13, Thursdays through Sundays, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Once again, thank you for your continued support, prayers, and presence. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

May God bless you and your loved ones.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, September 26, to celebrate the Feast of the Canadian Martyrs.

It was truly a blessing to see our church filled with so many people gathered together in prayer. We are grateful to everyone who took the time to be with us and celebrate this special day.

Today, we remember the Canadian Martyrs.

These Jesuit missionaries left France to walk alongside Indigenous peoples of the Wendat Nation, learning their languages and traditions. Their mission was marked by deep faith, cultural encounter and profound sacrifice.

Their ministry also unfolded amid colonization and profound change, in which the Jesuits played a part. As patron saints of our Province, the Canadian Martyrs remind us of our mission today: to remain rooted in Christ, serve where the needs are greatest, respond to changing realities, and work together for justice and reconciliation, helping to heal fractured relationships with God, with one another and with creation.

Today, September 26, we joyfully celebrate the Feast Day of the Canadian Martyrs.

A gentle reminder that on this special day, there will only be the 12:00 Feast Day Mass which will be televised and the 7:30 p.m. Anticipation Mass.

Admission to the Shrine is free today. We hope you can all join us!

We invite everyone to join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as we celebrate the Feast of the Canadian Martyrs on the 400th Anniversary of their mission.

The Feast Day Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon, followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Please note that the Mass will be televised.

Admission to the Shrine is free this day.
