Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say what an honour, privilege, and blessing it has been to have been your pastor for the past 8.5 years. You took a chance on a young family and gave us a place to grow and a place to call home. From the first day, in late December 2017, you welcomed us into your church, your homes, and your hearts.
We’ve walked through some valleys together. We’ve wept and cried; rejoiced and laughed. We’ve seen folks baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost and healed by the power of God and we’ve had some incredible moments in His presence together. We’ve planted many a seed in prayer and I believe you will soon see growth come from that.
It was here I learned to lead, preach, teach, and make difficult decisions. Not only have our children grown up here but we did, too, and you were a part of that. Although we are excited about where God is leading us, leaving is not easy.
I’ll miss our Christmas banquets, our fellowships, praying together, worshipping together, and even the questions I’d get from a certain un-named saint. Whenever I think of Middleton, I’ll always remember your kindness, patience, and love for our family.
Please keep us in your prayers as we transition into this new season of ministry and we will keep you in ours. God has great things in store for you.
God bless you all.
With love and a slightly heavy heart,
Ryan Shephard
