Thought for the Week - Discover

Faith comes by discovery, not by effort. It is not a feeling we can manufacture. It comes to us rather as a gift, often unexpected – the simple assurance that God is God, and that if we can just be still and know that God is God, all will be well.

Thought for the Week - Treasure

When we stand before God, our wealth, our popularity, our physical beauty, our social status, and our material possessions will not matter in the least. God looks on the heart and God will see whether we have been loving, compassionate, faithful and true. God looks for the “heavenly treasure” that will not pass away.

Thought for the Week - Trust

Even when God’s ways are hidden from us, and God seems to be silent in the face of our trouble, we hold fast, believing and trusting in the goodness and power of God, and confident that God’s love will win out over evil. We must never stop loving. We must never stop trusting. We must never, ever give up.
