Join us as we celebrate the Feast of St. Henry with a day of faith, fellowship, food, and fun!

Bring your favourite dish to share, wear your best tropical attire, and come enjoy a wonderful afternoon with our parish family. Roast pig will be provided by the parish.

Please remember to bring:
🪑 A lawn chair

🥤 Your own drinks

I am opening our doors for drop-in sessions this week to create handmade cards for our local RCMP officers, letting them know we are rallying around them here at home. ❤️

Where: 317b Main St, Melville
When: Tuesday & Thursday this week
Time: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Important Note on Studio Space & Booking:
Due to limited space in our studio and to ensure everyone has a comfortable workspace, families must reserve a 30 minute studio time slot in advance. Each 30 minute session has a strict maximum capacity of 12 spaces total.

There is no charge for this event.

Ways to participate:

At the Studio:
Reserve your 30 minute slot to create a thank you card, a get well card, or simply write a kind letter or draw a picture. All art materials are provided!

From Home:
If your child prefers to take their time and make a card at home, you do not need to sign up for a slot. You may simply drop the completed cards off at our local RCMP detachment.

A Note for Parents:
Please note that I will not be introducing or discussing any recent events with the children during these sessions. I deeply respect that each family is unique and has their own comfort level regarding what they share with their children. Because this is an open, collaborative studio environment, I cannot guarantee that peer-to-peer conversations won't happen. Parents are welcome to stay and create alongside their children!

The St. Henry’s Leadership Team asks our parish and school community to keep the injured RCMP officers in your prayers. Through the intercession of Our Lady and St. Michael the Archangel, may they receive healing, protection, and strength in the days ahead. 🙏💙

“Lord, be with those who serve and protect, and grant them your peace and healing.”

Our community is hurting today.

Two of our RCMP officers were injured while serving and protecting us, and our thoughts are with them, their families, their fellow officers, and everyone affected by this tragedy.

We may not be able to take away the pain or uncertainty, but we can stand together and remind them that they are not facing this alone.

Melville is behind you. We are praying for your healing, your strength, and your safe recovery. We are grateful for your courage, your service, and the sacrifices you make for our community every day.
