Unfortunately, there will be no Christmas services due to the ongoing construction to the church hall. Thank you all for your continued support. Please keep us in your prayers. Local congregations have invited us to their services. Eau Claire EMC Eau Claire Missionary Church has a Christmas Eve candlelight service on Dec. 24 at 7:00pm and St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Rutherglen has a Christmas Eve service at 4:00 pm. Thanks again.

Update: There will be no monthly church service for August. Repairs and renovations are ongoing in the church hall. With all renovations there is mess! We will keep everybody updated on the progress.

In the early morning hours of July 18th, a vehicle collided with the Church Hall building of St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church. We are thankful to share that emergency services responded quickly and with great care.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Mattawa Fire Department, Papineau-Cameron Fire Department, Paramedics, local mechanics, tow truck drivers, and the Ontario Provincial Police for their swift and professional response at the scene. Your dedication to the safety and well-being of our community is deeply appreciated.

The motorist involved in the accident was taken to the Mattawa Hospital for care. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

As a result of the incident, the Church Hall building is currently closed until further notice.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and continued prayers.

With thanksgiving, we announce the election of the Rt. Rev. Shane Parker as the 15th Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. We give thanks for the laity, clergy and bishops of the General Synod who discerned in prayer and faith; for the nominees who offered themselves in trust; and for the Diocese of Ottawa, which will also enter a time of transition.

Bishop Shane will be installed as Primate during Closing Worship on Sunday, June 29. Join us via livestream at gs2025.anglican.ca/live as we pray for his ministry and for the whole Church.
