On Wed. June 3rd we celebrated a milestone for our community. The property north of St. Paul's Anglican Church, where previously stood the Marmora Masonic Lodge, was donated to St. Paul's by Mason Jim Kerr. The property has been sitting idle from 2004.
In 2023 the Rev. Canon Dr. Bob Wright met with Jim Kerr to propose the land be donated to Habitat for Humanity. Both Jim and Bob deemed this a worthy endeavour.
St. Paul's Anglican Church, The Diocese of Ontario, Habitat for Humanity, Harmony Homes and the Municipality of Marmora and Lakes are happy to announce that a Duplex will be built on this site, providing a home for two families in need!!
