SMRO builds a brighter future for people in Egypt, Sudan, and South Sudan to make a REAL difference.

Our vision is for a thriving, healthy community built on the strength of independent, well-fed families. We live in a world where everything is at its best since the dawn of humanity. Yet in countless places like Egypt and Sudan, many people struggle to even get basic food and clean water, living in uncertainty of what’s going to await them the next day. The Saint Moses Relief Organization (SMRO)

was established in 2012 in Canada with a mission to end poverty. Since then, we’ve raised hundreds of millions to support those in need. Working across 22 districts in Egypt and 2 in North and South Sudan, with over 500 volunteers, we offer access to essential daily needs and education. Our work helps people become self-reliant and envision a brighter future. Currently focused on Egypt and Sudan, we aim to expand our support across Africa, bringing hope and assistance to the entire continent. As the New Year and the Nativity approach, we are reminded of the joy of giving and the blessings of sharing with those in need. This year, many of our brothers and sisters in Egypt and Sudan face the holiday season struggling to provide basic necessities for their families.

We invite you to join us in sharing the joy of the giving season by helping provide essential support for these families. Your support can make a profound difference, helping restore dignity and hope.

Our goal is to provide $50 in essential support for each of the 5,000 most disadvantaged families in our care.

To receive a 2025 tax receipt, the final day to donate is December 30. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations in early February, and you can expect a refund of up to 75% of your donation when filing your taxes. If you prefer to receive a printed copy, please contact Claire Saad at +1 (647) 999-9815.

You can contribute by sending an e-transfer to [email protected], donating by credit card through our website at www.SMRO.ca, or mailing a cheque payable to SMRO to the address below.
