Hope Women enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship this past weekend at our Women’s Spring Event!! We were reminded of God’s love for us—a love that never lets us down. We were also encouraged to hear how puts God’s love in action! Pretty cards were decorated and friendships were formed.

This week a group from our Women's Ministry gathered to pack the generous donations brought in during the Mother's Day Pamper Hamper donation drive. ❤️

Over 100 gift bags were lovingly prepared to bless mothers in need this Mother's Day. Each gift bag was prayed over, that it would carry not just care, but the love of Christ to every woman who receives one.

Praise God for His provision, and thank you, church, for your overwhelming generosity. And thank you to the women who helped pack and deliver these to the . 🙏🏻

Hey moms! Are you looking for a place to connect with others during the week? If so, come join our Mom & Tot drop-in on Tuesday mornings, May 12th & 26th & June 9th & 23rd from 9:30 to 11:30. It's a casual place to hang out and chat with other moms while providing your kids/babies a safe space to play. We warmly invite you to our Hope Women's Spring Event on Saturday, May 23 at 10am, centred on the beauty of God’s love. The heart of our time together will be an encouraging message from 1 John, focusing on what it truly means to actively live out God's love in our daily lives.

Additionally, we have some other activities planned for the morning:
🫶🏽 Partnering with RISE Support Centre: Discover how we can come alongside this ministry to be a blessing in practical, meaningful ways.
🍼 Optional Baby Item Drive: If you feel led, you are welcome to bring baby items to support families in need (a specific list of items will be provided upon registration).
🥰 Fellowship & Fun: Let's connect over light refreshments, enjoy lively fellowship, and participate in a fun activity!

We are collecting gift items to create Pamper Hampers for Mother’s Day in partnership with RISE Support Centre. Many of these moms are facing difficult situations and are rarely celebrated. Through this initiative, we want to share the love of Christ by encouraging them and reminding them that they are loved and thought of on Mother’s Day.

🎁 Donations (new & unused) will be accepted until April 26th
🚗 Drop off your items in the designated area in the lobby

We have provided a list of suggested gift items in the image above, but if you have other ideas, feel free to contribute. We kindly ask that all donated items be new and unused. Thank you for helping us bless these moms!

A memorable moment at Songs of Hope was when Jean shared her testimony. We all understand what it means to deeply long for something- or someone, and Jean found that Christ was the only one who could truly satisfy that longing.

This tied into Liz's message, where she asked us where we place our hope, and what expectations shape how we live.

Hope comes with knowing Christ and His loving care - may we take time to dwell on Him this Christmas season.

Hope Women is inviting you to our annual Christmas event entitled “Songs of Hope: the Gospel in every note.” Join us at 7pm on Friday, December 5th. All women are welcome – and bring a friend! What a joy to kick off another ministry year together! 🙌

Last week, we gathered to connect with sisters in Christ, uplift each other in testimony, and learn from God’s Word. We’re so grateful for each of you, as we look to a new season of growing together in faith.

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. (Col 2:6)

Capped off this season in the best way with the best group of ladies❤️

Last night we had our final leaders meeting for the ministry year. We ate, we laughed, shared what the Lord taught us over the term, and prayed for the season ahead.

Here's to new seasons, new opportunities, but the same faithful God.
