Based on the book of Esther, this courageous young woman risked her life to save her people. Her words echo courage: “If I perish, I perish.”

Acts 7:55 & 56 tells the story of the stoning of Stephen who fixed his eyes on Jesus and forgave those who were killing him.

Presbyterian College Chapel – McGill University

Join the Christian Medical and Dental Association, the McGill Christian Law Students’ Association, and the Nurses Christian Fellowship of Canada for an afternoon of worship, prayer, and connection.

This gathering is a space to slow down, worship God together, and be refreshed in community. In the midst of busy studies and professional responsibilities, we come together to pray, sing, reflect, and reconnect with God and with one another.

This is a simple time of worship and networking, open to all.

Limited space — first come, first served.

Merle Ross, BSN, MScPublic Health will be sharing her faith story. She is a recently retired RN with Metis ancestry. She worked in Public Health and Home Care, primarily in Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Merle served as HIV Coordinator for Prairie North Health Region and most recently retiring as a TB Nurse Clinician in Regina. She has a heart for Indigenous and marginalized people.”

We’re continuing to address Healthcare Challenges facing Saskatchewan RNs and HSW.

In Part 1, we looked at:
1. Overwork, fatigue and burnout
2. Serving others with compassion
3. Moral distress and feeling unheard

Instead of lamenting, we approached these challenges from a solutions point of view through scriptural truths.

In Part 2, we seek solutions to:
4. Fear, uncertainty, and risk
5. Community support and teamwork
6. Emotional and spiritual healing
