This past Sunday at Jesus Is Lord Church, our message “Breakthrough Gentleness That Heals” reminded us that gentleness isn’t the absence of strength — it’s strength surrendered to the Holy Spirit, and it’s how God restores what’s broken.

• A gentle response mends division instead of deepening it

Think of the last argument you stepped into. A sharp reply pours fuel on the fire. But one calm, gentle answer can stop it cold and begin the healing. That’s not weakness. That’s power under control.

"OUR DECISION TO REMAIN FAITHFUL TO GOD BREAKS GENERATIONAL CURSES AND IS THE KEY THAT OPENS A BREAKTHROUGH OF BLESSING FOR A THOUSAND GENERATIONS."

One of the most powerful truths from last Sunday's message, Faithful to a Thousand Generations, is that while faith cannot be passed down automatically, your faithfulness to God can influence the atmosphere, values, and direction of future generations.

In this message, we learned:
• Breakthrough begins when we stop blaming others and take responsibility for our walk with God.
• We may not be able to change our family's past, but by God's grace, we can help shape a different future.
• Our faithfulness today can become a blessing for generations tomorrow.

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations..." — Deuteronomy 7:9

✨ This Sunday’s message reminded us of a powerful truth:
Faithfulness isn’t easy… but it is always rewarding.
And the blessings it brings are everlasting.

God calls us to a life of faithfulness—
🌿 A genuine relationship with Him
🌿 A heart that remembers His goodness
🌿 A life shaped by godly leaders and examples
🌿 A desire to know who He is and walk in His will

Because “the Lord your God is God—the faithful God” (Deut. 7:9).
And when we walk faithfully, He never fails to pour out His promises.

It is revealed in the quiet decisions we make every day.
● In our loyalty.
● In our consistency.
● In doing what is right, even when no one is watching.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”

The small things matter to God.

Our faithfulness in unseen moments reflects the condition of our hearts and prepares us for greater responsibility.

Like Job, true faithfulness remains steadfast in every season.
He lost everything but never lost his faith in God.

May we continue to remain faithful, not for recognition, but out of our love and obedience to Him.
