THROWBACK THURSDAY...

With Collide Weekend coming up next week, we thought we'd throwback to Youth Camp 2018. What a fun week that was. Colour Wars and all the fun that was for the summer of 2018 along with the ministry teams and so much more.

HELP NEEDED…

We are trying to make as much room as possible for students to attend Collide Weekend next weekend here at SLWC and are short a couple leaders.

Currently in need of two more adult female staff but could always use more male or female adults willing to serve.

Collide takes place NEXT WEEKEND June 12-14 for students 12-17 years old.

If you’re an adult and are willing to serve with our Program Staff email our Program Director at [email protected]. Help us share the love of Jesus with as many as possible in this place at Collide Weekend 2026 and have a great time doing it.

JOIN OUR TEAM…

We are still looking for single week help this summer in our Program Staff with our busier camps. If you’re 16 or older and want to serve a week (or two or three) this summer we’d love to talk to you.

If you’re 18 or older and want to come for a week we could always use more adult help at Youth Camp July 19-25 as older program staff are needed that week with the older campers.

For a current list of what weeks are needed email our Program Director at [email protected]. We’d love to find a spot for you to jump in. Paid and volunteer positions are available.

.it’s Sunday and we had a DOUBLE church visit today which means it’s time to give away NOT one but TWO FREE WEEKS of camp…

Today we were at Southgate Church Kemptville AND Southgate Church Wi******er. THANK YOU to everyone who entered our draw and THANK YOU to the entire Southgate family for having us out today.

It’s a DOUBLE VISIT SUNDAY this week as we wrap up our church visits for the season (so far anyways, things change).

We are pumped to be at Southgate Church this week which means a visit to Kemptville (9AM & 10:30AM) and Wi******er (10AM).

If you’re in the area, as always, we’d love to see you stop by and say hello.

THANK YOU to Southgate for having us out this weekend (Yard Sale yesterday and church today) and to all our area churches that have had us out this spring. We love visiting all of you.

It’s YARD SALE DAY at Southgate!!! This is Southgate’s annual yard sale fundraiser to send kids to camp. SLWC loves to partner with area ministries to share the love os Jesus.

If you’re in Ottawa, it’s worth the trip down to Kemptville for this MASSIVE yard sale, plant sale, BBQ & bake sale. And all funds raise go to sending kids to camp. Doesn’t get any better than that.

If you come by the Yard Sale make sure to swing by our booth and say hello. We’d love to see you.

Southgate Yard Sale runs 8AM-1PM at Southgate Kemptville Campus

All set up and ready to go for the Southgate Yard Sale taking place tomorrow 8AM-1PM at Southgate in Kemptville.

The Southgate Yard Sale raises funds to send kids to camp and we’re excited to be part of it.

If you’re in the area or looking for some yard sale items or bake sale or plant sale or brisket or bbq (they have it all) swing on by and say help to us at the SLWC booth. We’d love to see you.

TWO WEEKS…

It’s time to get exited we are just TWO WEEKS away from Collide Weekend 2026!!!

Taking place June 12-14 for students 12-17 years old this is gonna be a fun filled, Jesus centred weekend at the lake. Students will have a chance to grow in their faith, worship together, build friendships and have a great time.
