URGENT!
We still need a cook for camp. Our Director, Shelby, is preparing menus and purchasing the food, however, we still need people to come in each day to cook. We are, therefore, reaching out to all our churches to see whether they have people who would be able to help us out either for one week or for various days during the camp. Camp starts on 2 July and finishes August 7. It runs from Sunday evening until Friday evening each week. We are looking for people to come in from 10.00 am until about 6.00 pm to cook lunch and supper and leave a snack for the evening. Accommodation is provided if needed. With Camp just 3 weeks away we still need to fill several positions:

We need a Kitchen Director (Cook), someone who is able to effectively run the kitchen for us. Accommodation is provided. Please pray for God to provide the right person. We know that there are people in our churches who are really good cooks and if we do not find the right person then we will be asking churches to send a team of people to cook for us for one week of camp, please ask your church to start considering whether they would be able to help in this way.

We still need Spiritual Directors for several week of camp. Please prayerfully consider whether your church would be able to release your pastor for a week at camp. Rev Ben McMichael is co-ordinating this so please communicate with him.

We still need a Lifeguard, it seems they are in short supply, please pray for us to find someone soon, and ask around.

God is good and things are coming together for a great camp this year. We now have a Director. We have appointed Shelby Morgan, she will be at the Fun Day on June 20th, so please come and meet her then.
We also have a committed team of leaders and LITs and are planning a comprehensive week of training for them.

Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸 The front pew was full for Amy’s children’s story. We are so thankful for the moms (and dads and grandmothers) who bring their young people.
