Holy Trinity Parish

Holy Trinity Parish Explosively alive in the Holy Spirit. Strengthened in community. Transforming the world for Jesus. St. John Vianney church is now the parish home.

Holy Trinity Parish is a Roman Catholic community located in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia that gathers together to make and equip disciples who joyfully go and invite others to Jesus. Our dream for Holy Trinity Parish is that we become explosively alive in the Holy Spirit, strengthened in community and that we transform the world for Jesus. Holy Trinity Parish previously consisted of three church

locations: St John Vianney and St Elizabeth Seton in Lower Sackville, and St Francis of Assisi in Mount Uniacke.

At Holy Trinity Parish, we are blessed by nearly 200 volunteers and leaders whose generous service helps bring the mission of Jesus to life, and in the weeks ahead we look forward to celebrating some of these incredible Changemakers.
This week, we joyfully celebrate the Knights of Columbus and the many ways these faithful men have served our parish community throughout the year. Whether through parish events, community gatherings, parish improvements, or quiet acts of service behind the scenes, their generosity and leadership continue to make a lasting impact on the mission of our church.
From coffee after Mass, pancake suppers, barbecues, and ice cream socials to supporting Growth Groups, Care & Companionship ministry, seminarians, and outreach initiatives like Coats for Kids, Special Olympics, and Beacon House, the Knights continue to build community both within and beyond our parish walls.
Thank you, Knights of Columbus, for your servant hearts, faithful witness, and dedication to building up Holy Trinity Parish and our wider community. We are deeply grateful for each of you!

At Holy Trinity Parish, we are blessed by nearly 200 volunteers and leaders whose generous service helps bring the mission of Jesus to life, and in the weeks ahead we look forward to celebrating some of these incredible Changemakers.

This week, we’re excited to celebrate Louise Blais and Tanya Rafter, the dedicated leaders of our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program! ❤️
Over the past several years, our parish has been blessed to welcome many new members into our faith community, and Louise and Tanya have played a beautiful role in guiding and accompanying them on their journey of faith.
Through their faithful leadership, welcoming hearts, and committed team, they have helped create a ministry where people can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and encounter Christ in a deeper way.
Thank you, Louise and Tanya, for your servant hearts and for all you do to help build up our parish family! 🙏

“If we want to see the Church come explosively alive, we need an explosively alive priesthood.”
That’s the heart of Adopt a Priest. We’re not just supporting vocations, we’re forming leaders. We are training priests not just in theology but in spirit-filled leadership. Be part of this movement.
- Commit to daily prayer.
- Give $30/month or $360/year to the CC Clergy Leadership fund.
