A Beautiful and Meaningful Gift ❤️✝️

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Barbara Hall for the beautiful and meaningful gift she presented to our church.

This lovely handcrafted piece represents the tomb of Jesus and the miracle of the Resurrection. The black stone symbolizes the large stone that was rolled across the entrance of the tomb. On the third day, when the women came to the tomb to prepare Jesus’ body for burial, they discovered that the stone had been rolled away — the tomb was empty. Jesus had risen!

This beautiful piece was lovingly carved by Samuel Vashon, and we are so grateful to Barbara for choosing to share it with our church family. It will serve as a wonderful reminder of the hope at the very heart of our faith — the tomb is empty, and our Saviour lives!
