It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our dear and dedicated sister - Presvytera Dionysia "Diane" Chelonis. May her memory be eternal.
Presvytera Diane’s sudden absence leaves a deep void within our organization and the community we serve. While we struggle to process this unexpected loss, we lean on our faith and her memory - We thank her for her wisdom, her guidance, her contributions, grace & wit.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to Fr. Chelonis and his entire family during this unimaginably difficult time.

Our Ladies of Philoptochos are proud to give back to our community through our outreach efforts at the London Food Bank.

We believe that serving others is at the heart of what Philoptochos is all about. Volunteering our time, helping those in need, and supporting organizations within our community allows us to make a meaningful difference—one helping hand at a time. 🤍

As part of our ongoing initiative, we are committed to volunteering at the London Food Bank four times a year. We warmly welcome all Philoptochos members to join us in this important effort.

Together, through compassion, kindness, and service, we can strengthen our community and make a difference in the lives of others. 🙏🏼💙

Happy Ecclesiastical New Year to all!

Our Philoptochos Outreach Program is looking for volunteers to help out at the Food Bank - Thurs. Sept 10th, 6:30-8pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for our ladies to come together while getting involved in our London community.
Those interested are to call Mrs. Anna Karamoutzos, as spots are limited. Those attending are encouraged to bring a non perishable food item and to meet there.🥫

• ALSO..We are also looking for individuals that can volunteer their time handing out Foodbank donation bags outside specific grocery locations Oct 2nd - Oct 10th. Details will be provided. If interested, please also contact Mrs. Anna Karamoutzos +1 (519) 870-6112

Before the celebration of our Holy Panagia, several of our Philoptochos ladies were honoured with the opportunity to visit our beloved community members at various Longterm Care Residences.
Big thank you to Mrs. Christina Port - while visiting the island of tinos resourced and brought back with her icons and koboskina for our seniors in honour if Panayia's and for that we thank her so much.
The joy was shared and treasured by all. 🫶
