Prayer Updates...
1. Paige has been released from hospital and will complete recovery at home.
2.We continue in prayer for Maya ..currently stable and continuing to react to stimuli..
3. Let us also pray that the Lord will move on peoples heart to remove blame from this incident and others. Grief and sorrow are HIs to carry and we know we humans do not carry it well
4. Pray for those who have been broken through trauma -
Psalms 107:6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Let us continue in prayer for Tumbler Ridge..
This is one of the children who did not make it.
With all of the current rhetoric surrounding the accused.. it is far more important to remember the victims, their families, those who are injured and need healing and the community

Hermitt: Lloyd Albert -

A resident of Chatham, Lloyd Hermitt was called home to be with his Lord at 7:30pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus, with his family at his side at the age of 84.

Born in Jamaica, Lloyd was the son of the late Roderick and Mabel (née MacDonald) Hermitt.

Beloved husband of 47 years to Katherine (née Gooden).

Loving father of Samuel Hermitt, Frederick Hermitt and Franklin Hermitt (Tammy).

Proud Grandpa to Alyssa, Aliyah, Angeline and the late Bryson Xavier James Hermitt (2012).

Dear brother to Bill, Shirley, Sheila, Madge, Yvonne and Joy. Predeceased by his sister Jean.

Brother-in-law to Agnes, Evadne, Garden, Gilbert and Winston. Predeceased by Evelyn, Margaret, Mary and Ivan.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Lloyd retired from Eaton Yale after over 33 years of service.

Lloyd became an ordained Pastor in 2013, preaching at Chatham Christian Centre and other churches around Chatham-Kent. He proudly distributed bibles for Gideon's throughout the years.

Lloyd was dedicated to his Lord, his family and his vegetable garden. He was blessed with a mind for history, recalling dates and events at will. Lloyd enjoyed ministering to everybody, including those walking by the home and to the many farm workers at the Dresden camp.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street Chatham on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. A Celebration of Lloyd's Life will be held at Praise Fellowship, 165 Park Ave E, Chatham on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00am with Rev. Paul McPhail officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations made in memory of Lloyd to ShareWord Global (formerly known as Gideons) would be appreciated by the family.

This week's prayers!!
First, let us all remember that the government is on HIS shoulders!!

Then let us pray for these matters;
1. Our leaders and board members
2. Our churches – not just the leaders – that they will be people who thirst for the Word and hunger for righteousness
3. That we members, will be an example of faith filled, Word loving people of God
4. That we will continue to preach His Word and bring hope to this nation and the nations we are called to
5. Let us remember our missionaries that go into the world
6. Prayers for Rev Karl Keinle, Rev Audrey Mabley = Healing prayers

World situations:
1. Pray for Israel = that Canada would take a stand and reject antisemitism
2. Pray for the church in Lexington Kentucky - https://www.foxnews.com/us/gunman-kills-2-wounds-2-lexington-church-after-shooting-kentucky-state-trooper
3. Wars in Congo, Syria, Ukraine, many other African nations

A gunman shot a state trooper during a traffic stop, carjacked a vehicle then drove to a church where he killed two women and wounded 2 men on Sunday, Lexington police said.
