A Shared Ministry Covenanting Service!
Join us on Sunday April 26th @ 4:30 PM at Riverside United Church as we celebrate a 1 year anniversary and covenanting between Rev Dr Rob Apgar-Taylor, Rev Michelle Owens, Rev Kerry Stover, and the congregations of Calvary, Riverside, White Oaks, and Wesley Knox.
A pot luck meal will follow. (Wesley-Knox people are asked to bring main dishes for the dinner)

We’re Hiring: Nursery Program Coordinator

Wesley‑Knox United Church is looking for a warm, caring individual to serve as our Nursery Program Coordinator on Sunday mornings during worship (10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.).

This role provides a safe and nurturing environment for infants and young children while their caregivers participate in worship. The Coordinator plans simple activities, ensures child safety, and supports a welcoming nursery experience grounded in Christian values.

Experience working with young children, First Aid/CPR‑C, and a Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain) are required.

-Maundy Thursday: Pot Luck Dinner and worship at Riverside United Church at 6 pm.

-Good Friday: 11 am St James Westminster Anglican Church

-Easter Sunday: Sunrise Service at 7:30 am at Park across from Riverside United Church. (McKillop Park)
-8:00 am breakfast at Riverside
-11 am: Morning worship with Communion.

Thank you everyone who joined us for our PIE Day Potluck and Worshops!

Tomorrow we continue with PIE SUNDAY! We will have pie available after worship.

PIE DAY or National Affirming Day is our annual reminder that we need to be Public, Intentional and Explicit in our welcome to all peoples. This can include signage on our building, information on our website or online but also includes what happens when someone enters our building. Does someone say "hello" to them? Do they have a safe and accessible washroom that they can use? If they utilize a support person is that person also welcomed?

I challenge you to answer the following question: What is one action that you personally can do to be more public, intentional and explicit in making sure all people feel welcome, accepted and safe at Wesley-Knox? When you go downstairs after worship, we invite you to write your response on the large board in exchange for a slice of delicious pie!
