We live in a generation that wants to love God and flirt with evil at the same time.
Worship on Sunday. Compromise on Monday. Praising God in church. Entertaining sin at home. Calling Jesus Lord but making excuses for what he clearly calls wrong.
But the Word of God draws a sharp line.
“Let those who love the Lord hate evil.” — Psalm 97:10
Not avoid evil. Not tolerate evil in moderation. Not stay neutral.
Hate it.
The same way you love God — that is the same intensity with which you must hate what he hates.
You cannot truly love light and be comfortable in darkness. You cannot genuinely love God and casually embrace what nailed his Son to a cross.
There is no middle ground. No grey area. No comfortable compromise.
And here is the good news for those who choose to stand —
“He guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.” — v.10-11
Righteousness is not a burden. It is a protected place.
When you hate what God hates and love what God loves — his light, his joy and his protection follow you.
Don’t straddle the fence. Choose your side. 🙏
