Rev. Dr. Jeff Crittenden, minister and Huron University Preaching Prof, has released a new book and will be coming to London, ON for a special launch. It will be at Fairmont Campus (a Missional Congregation of Metropolitan United) on September 30th at 7 pm.

Hi Everyone, This is the route for those walking in the Pride Parade with our sibling united churches.
For those who don't want to walk, there are spots available on the wagon... about 6 left. You may say, "why would I march?" After marching in my first London Pride (Rev. Doug writing) I was struck by the many beaming faces who appreciated seeing a collared ordained clergy, smile at them and say, 'Happy Pride!' For many people in the LGBTQI2S+A (Le***an Gay BiSexual Trans Q***r Intersex 2Spirit Asexual) community, having a positive experience with a church community is rare. When we come as normal church people, it makes a big deal!!!! You just have to walk, smile and say, "Happy Pride"... that's all you have to do to have your heart filled by onlooking crowd members... it's a day filled with joy!

"Knit Happens" is going "live" for 2 weeks on July 7th and 14th in the east parking lot at Rowntree at 7:00 pm. We will be concentrating on making the hearts and cards for the Pride Parade on July 19th. Directions and yarn readily available. Some crochet hooks provided. Other crafting also welcome. Bring a lawn chair and a beverage to keep hydrated. There will be access to washrooms. In case of rain we will be indoors. For those who can't come in person - try Zooming! (link attached and will work for both dates) Everyone welcome!

Isabel Sanderson was a loved member of our congregation who lived to the incredible age of 102. A service will be held this coming Monday to celebrate her life at MacFarlane Roberts at 2pm with a visitation beginning at 1pm. Please keep Isabel and her family in your prayers.
