❤️ What a wonderful summer of church hopping in my village of Port Stanley!Visiting different congregations reinforced one beautiful truth: God is always with us, exactly where we are. His presence isn't confined to a single building—He walks with us every day in our community. So grateful for the warm welcomes and the new friendships. Yesterday’s beautiful service with Port Stanley United Church was held outdoors at Lions Landing. Looking forward to seeing my Siloam Family next week!

🌿 Join us for worship this Sunday, September 6 at 10:30 am

Pastor Mary Dillon will lead us in worship this week. Mary writes:

I warmly invite you to join me in the sanctuary on the Sunday of this Labour Day weekend as we consider passages that talk about living well in community.

Loving ourselves is easy: a couch, a snack and a good book or movie will do it for most of us. It takes work to love others. We must look out for them, encourage them, support them, learn about their likes and dislikes and, at times, we also may have to challenge a friend on his or her behaviour, and hold them accountable.

Matthew 18:15-20 and Romans 13:8-14 emphasize that faith is not just a personal journey but a communal one, where relationships and mutual accountability play a crucial role. These passages teach that addressing sin and seeking reconciliation are integral aspects of living out our faith. Come, let us journey together!

To all the bakers out there...we need your help! 🍪

The Boutique Yard Sale is just 3 weeks away, and we need to fill up our baked goods table. Last year, the baking SOLD OUT IN AN HOUR. This year, let's try to double that amount. The more we bake, the more funds we can raise for our church community!

Cookies, brownies, pies, tarts, squares...it's time to pull out your favourite recipes and make a batch for Siloam. Many items freeze well, so you can start now.

Social Sunday returns September 6 ☕🍪😄

The first Sunday of the month, you are invited to join us in the Arva Atrium after the service for treats and refreshments. This is a wonderful time to catch up with old friends, and meet new ones!

Would you like to contribute cookies or squares for an upcoming Social Sunday? Please contact the office, or chat with the volunteers at the refreshment table this week.
